Description: HAT BANDS FOR "TELL HIM HE'S DREAMING!"

On Thursday 24th October the Ubiquitous Mr Fox will lead us in a fabulous themed session titled "TELL HIM HE'S DREAMING!

To dream and have hope is a quintessential part of the human spirit, which is why so many songs over the years have been written about DREAMS. Les has put together a collection of songs in this genre and we'll workshop 7 of them so that we can familiarise ourselves with some of Les's selection of songs for next week's Theme Session.

We will have 3 workshop sessions, followed by performances by all groups. Hence 4 sessions of approximately 25 minutes. All songs to be practised are attached.

    Session 1:

Everyone will learn:  "Did You Ever See A Dream Walking?" (Gene Austin's version) with Les Fox leading.

    Session 2:

We will divide in to 3 groups and each will workshop one of the following songs:

    1.  "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman
    2. "Out Of My Dreams" from Oklahoma
    3. "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph & His Technicolour Dreamcoat

    Session 3:

We will divide in to 3 other groups and each will workshop one of the following songs:

    1.  "Dreamer" by Supertramp
    2. "All I Have To Do Is Dream" by the Everly Brothers
    3. "California Dreaming" by The Mamas & The Papas

    Session 4:

Each workshop group will perform the songs they've practised up on the stage.
